STD Awareness month

This is a shocking statistic! Unfortunately, it is true based on the way STDs are going today. Whether you are sexually active or not, it pays to be aware of STDs.  Share information with your partners, friends, relatives and peers. Our clinic finder can help you find a clinic that is right for you or someone you know who should visit a clinic

Why Should I Know About STDs?

STDs affect EVERYONE! Even if you are not sexually active. As mentioned many people may have an STD and not even know it.  The longer an STD goes undetected and untreated, the more complications that can occur.  Treatment can become more costly, effecting all of us, because health care costs can go up due to the more complications that can occur.

You should arm yourself with knowledge about STDs and other sexual health issues for yourself, whether you are thinking about becoming sexually active or already are.

You can share information with your boyfriend or girlfriend and develop healthy communication in your relationshship. Or maybe you are thinking of hooking up with someone, it may just be a casual thing, but again, you can show this person you care about and respect yourself.  The more you share about STDs the more we can all prevent them together.
